Performance and Powertrain
The VW ID.3 showcases a completely electric powertrain with several options, ranging from 170 to an impressive 326 HP, ensuring a zero-emissions drive. The rear-wheel drive setup provides a dynamic driving experience, combined with acceleration from 0-100km/h in just 5.7 to 8.2 seconds depending on the variant. Its maximum speed caps between 160 to 200 km/h, offering gentle cruising capabilities. Most importantly, the ID.3 boasts excellent efficiency, consuming between 14.5 to 15.8 kWh per 100 km and offering an electric range of up to 606 km on a single charge.
Conversely, the VW T-Roc appeals to those who favor traditional engines, with a choice between diesel and petrol options. It offers power outputs ranging from 115 to 300 HP, distributed via either a manual or dual-clutch automatic transmission. The T-Roc presents both front-wheel and all-wheel-drive configurations, with torque figures between 200 to 400 Nm. Its CO2 emissions span from 125 to 191 g/km, marking it as less eco-friendly when compared to the ID.3, but it provides the familiarity that many drivers seek.
